Oakwood Park is a modern and stylish serviced office centre near the picturesque estate village of Ripley on the edge of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The business park was designed and developed by Alan Cryer and his wife, who built a home for themselves on the land first before developing additional buildings for offices. They still live on site and operate Oakwood Park as a family business.
Alan was keen for his offices to have all the advantages of being out of town without the disadvantage of poor connectivity. He talked to NYnet about the possibility of connecting the park to our fast fibre network, which is fully owned and managed by us with our team based just a few miles down the road in Harrogate.
The park opened at a time when fibre broadband was not widely available and Alan knew that having this installed would give the site a huge advantage when it came to attracting business tenants.
The business park’s rural setting makes it an idyllic place to work. However, it presented a challenge for connectivity to fast fibre broadband services.
NYnet designed a solution to bring full fibre to the premise with a combination of below ground and above ground cabling.
We worked closely with Alan throughout planning and installation and successfully delivered a superfast solution that has helped him attract a wide range of businesses to the park.
The network and broadband service is very robust and Alan knows that the NYnet team are on hand to respond quickly on the rare occasions that issues do arise. He and his tenants also have the flexibility to increase their bandwidth temporarily if they need extra broadband capacity at busy times.
