North Yorkshire Council has invested in a major upgrade of the technology infrastructure at four of its business centres in Northallerton, Stokesley, Scarborough and Knaresborough, supporting over 130 users.

The rollout of the new Comms X cloud communications platform was led by local technology firms nynet and Apollo Cloud Solutions.

It replaces legacy telephony with a modern, fully managed cloud communications solution designed to improve reliability, flexibility and day-to-day user experience for centre teams and tenants, while ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to services.

The project formed part of North Yorkshire Council’s ongoing commitment to modernise technology infrastructure across its business support environments, ensuring resilient, professional communications for the businesses and organisations operating within the centres.
